01 What Are Tart Boxes?
Tart boxes are custom boxes made to hold fruit tarts, egg tarts, mini tartlets, and patisserie, with a size, window, and insert that match your products. Shops, cafés, and event caterers use them for retail, takeaway, and home delivery.
02 What Size Tart Box Do I Need?
Measure one tart’s diameter and its full height, including fruit, glaze, or cream on top, then decide how many go in a box. We’ll make the lid tall enough to clear the topping and size the box so tarts lift out without tilting.
03 What Box Style Suits Fruit Tarts, Egg Tarts, and Mini Tartlets?
Fruit tarts need a taller lid to clear the topping, egg tarts are small and fit multi-cavity trays, and mini tartlets suit boxes of four, six, or twelve. Tell us what you sell, and we’ll recommend a structure for each.
04 How Do Inserts Keep Tarts in Place?
A fitted insert has a cavity for each tart, so pieces can’t slide, tip, or smear their toppings against the wall. Dividers also keep different flavors apart. Tell us your tart sizes and counts, and we’ll design the insert.
05 Can I Add a Window to a Tart Box?
Yes. A clear window shows the tarts without opening the box, and it’s patched with food-safe film. Glossy glaze and cream can touch the film if the box is tilted, so tell us your toppings, and we’ll suggest a window size and position.
06 Do Tart Boxes Need a Grease-Resistant Liner?
Butter pastry and custard can leave marks on plain board, so a grease-resistant liner or coating helps the box stay clean. Tell us whether tarts touch the box directly or sit on a paper tray, and we’ll recommend one.
07 Are Tart Boxes Food-Safe?
Our boxes use food-safe materials. Tell us your fillings, such as custard, cream, or fruit glaze, and we’ll recommend the right liner or coating for them.
08 Will a Box Keep Tarts Fresh?
A box helps protect tarts from handling, but it doesn’t insulate or refrigerate them. Tarts with cream or custard need to stay cold, so for delivery we recommend cold packs in an outer shipping box. Tell us your products and route, and we’ll advise.
